This is what I feel like.
El doctoro gave me another antibiotic, and told me to stay on the Zyrtec and Flonase I’m already shoving down my throat (and up my nose) on a daily basis. When I explained that I have an aversion to allopathic ways of treating ailments, and asked if she could recommend anything naturopathic, botanical, homeopathic…anything besides another prescription med, she couldn’t offer any alternate soluton.
Bummer.
So I found my own {giggling maliciously to myself while rubbing my hands together}:
- Stinging Nettle
- Licorice Root
- Cayenne
- Ginger
- A Neti-Pot
- Vitamin C
- Vitamin B6
- Magnesium
- Quercetin
- Lapacho Tea

Comment by breanna November 24, 2008 @ 2:20 pmmy mom uses “food enzymes” from natures sunshine (naturesunshine.com) . we absolutely love their products. my sister is an authorized seller and can get you anything you need if you ever decide you need anything or wanna try. hope it’s all working well and you are feeling better!
I have never felt better! There are the days when I have a runny nose, but the sinus pressure has finally ceased. I found this nasal spray called ’sinus buster’ which has cayenne pepper in it. Talk about a wake up call! LOL. It’s great and has prevented my sinuses from closing up like they normally do year-round.
I just looked at the naturessunshine website and I love it!! It has my favorite scent EVER, sandalwood…too bad it’s almost $60 5ml’s…harumph.
