The wedding to-do list is, month by month, getting longer and longer…and longer.  It’s amazing how quickly the 12-month mark approached this year.  It’s even more amazing how another two months have already flown by as well.  I just know that within the blink of an eye this entire year will have blown by in a frenzy and I’ll be standing at the front of our church exchanging vows with my hubby-to-be.  *sigh*  That’s gonna be a great day!  I’m so thankful I am doing this 365 so that I can look back and remember the days when life went by in a whirlwind.

With some items still overdue from the past month, I have been making great strides to cross all items off my list by the end of June.  A few things we’re working on at the moment:

Planning of the Rehearsal dinner – All things Earth Day-inspired, since our wedding falls two days following such a special day.  Yummy healthy food, as organic and local as possible, and s’mores for dessert on the open fire pit.

Ceremony/Reception décor – I decided to nix the wheatgrass centrepieces because they’re going to take so much time and what in heavens name am I going to do with 50 tins of wheatgrass after the wedding??!!  So we’re opting strictly for décor from my mom’s friend Wanda, who is decorating the reception as her wedding gift to the HTB and I.

Ceremony order – We almost have this taken care of thanks to our awesome Pastors who sent me the ceremony liturgy a month ago.

Wedding invitation wording – Nothing too fancy or traditional…it’s just not our bag.

At the end of June I’ll begin working with my bridesmaid (Annie)’s husband on the creation of the invitation suite.  I also need to get information from the HTB about those Groomsmen I don’t know very well so I can update our wedding website.  The church entrance sign will be done when I return from vacation, as I have to have it done by July so I can give back the rest of the matching paint to my future MIL.  She will be using it for our cake topper…err…cake sider…it’s not going directly on the cake because it’ll be too heavy.

So there you have it.
