jenifriend is the writer of Enjoyer of the Journey.  A published poet, she considered becoming an English major in college because of her passion for grammatical correctness.  Blogging since April of 2008, she has experienced the pleasure of re-acquainting with old friends from college and before, as well as making new friends she lovingly refers to as her “internet bosom buddies”.

jenifriend enjoys blogging about recipes that work (and don’t work) for her, home projects and re-vamps, her devotions to God, the wedding planning process (and all of its craziness) and political opinion.  You will likely take pleasure in her posts if you like to eat, like to craft, have a cup which runs over with thanks to God, have a glass which sits half empty in spiritual knowledge and foundation, enjoy weddings and/or are planning a wedding, or have a voice/opinion about both the mundane and beyond.

A little over a quarter of a century old, she enjoys family time, friend time, and alone time.  Born and bred in Cumberland, Maryland, she is an East Coast kid at heart and craves the ocean every time summer rolls around.  She now lives in the Kansas City suburbs of Olathe, Kansas with her fiancé Jeremy and their three fur babies Peaches, Maddie and Sasha.

A former moderina turned photographer, crafting enthusiast, soon-to-be superwife and hockey mom, jenifriend invites you to curl up with a hot cup o’ tea and warm blanket, and enjoy the professions of her life.
